+ How do I book online?

+ What is your cancellation policy?
Vanity Projects requires at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you fail to show up or cancel on the same day, your deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee to compensate the assigned nail artist for the missed appointment and lost time.
+ How do I book a group manicure?
Our booking site allows for group bookings of up to five people. For groups of five people or more, please give the salon a call or email to confirm accommodation for a larger size group.
+ Can I host an event at Vanity Projects?
We do host private events in New York and Miami. Please email us at contact@vanityprojectsnyc.com to speak to management and coordinate events in salon or off-site.
+ What is your pricing policy?
In regards to pricing for artwork, all of our custom artwork is priced on a sliding scale which can vary depending on the complexity of the design, the use of special pigments, and/or stones and charms used. Additionally, pricing does not include extras like gel removal, extensions, fills, length, hard gel, etc. Our pricing menu can be located at http://www.vanityprojectsnyc.com/
All of our base price for artwork is listed below, however, all pricing is on a sliding scale and will vary on the factors mentioned above.
Simple Art starts at $80
Middle Tier starts at $120
Complex Art starts at $160
+ How long do services take?
All services are timed accordingly to the level of artwork desired and include an additional thirty minutes if a gel removal is needed. The time needed for each service is indicated during the booking process. In the event that a gel removal is not booked for a service and is required during your appointment, the time will factor in to the remainder of the time left for artwork.
Additionally, enhancements such as hard gel extensions, apres gel-x extensions or acrylic are all add-ons and need to be booked with your service as they are not included in any artwork service.
+ What if I’m running late?
We encourage all clients to be on time or arrive five minutes early to check in for their appointment. We try our best to accommodate our clients should they run late, however, after 15 minutes, we may not be able to guarantee your original service and a service downgrade may be required or the appointment will be fully cancelled based on the time you arrive for your service.
+ What is the difference between Japanese gel and other brands?
Japanese gel is a high-quality, highly pigmented soft gel that offers strong adhesion, flexibility, and smooth application, making it ideal for long-lasting wear and intricate nail art. Unlike many other brands, it requires fewer layers, self-levels beautifully, and provides a balance of durability and soak-off convenience. The product is 11 free* and dental grade which means that it is without harmful chemicals, so a more natural product for your nails, and cures under UV or LED light exposure, usually with a 36 watt gel lamp.
+ What if I already have gel on my nails?
Please make sure to book a gel removal when booking. In booking a removal, ensures we have enough time to properly take off your gel and accommodate the art tier booked. If you do not book a gel removal, we may not be able to accommodate your service as initially booked.
+ Can I bring in my own nail art look?
Of course, we encourage all of our artists to be creative when customizing a design that best suits your style and interests!

+ Where does Vanity Projects ship to?
Vanity Projects currently ships to all 50 states for free. International shipping is also available at an additional cost.
+ How long will it take for my order to arrive?
All orders are currently shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 7 to 10 days for delivery to your address.
+ What is your return policy?
Vanity Projects will issue a refund to the original form of payment for defective items only once merchandise has undergone a quality control check upon receipt. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Please note we do not issue refunds for our services in the salon or for gift certificate purchases. All gift certificates are final sale.
